The Hidden Secrets of the "10 Laws of paradox"

As there are Two-Sides of Every Story, Two-Sides to every Sheet of Paper, Document, Perspective, Question and Answer… and so there are Two-Sides to every Ancient Tablet. Protagoras, Greek philosopher (485 BC - 421 BC). From Diogenes Laertius, “Lives of Eminent Philosophers.” We have been discussing the remnants of what may have been Scribed on the opposite side of The "10-Laws of Paradox"in which you may be interested to Learn what only a few have recently discovered.

The 1st Law of Paradox
“If it doesn’t ‘feel’ right, do not do it.”

The 2nd Law of Paradox
“If you don’t know, ask.”

The 3rd Law of Paradox
“Fulfill your Life by Fulfilling Others.”

The 4th Law of Paradox
“If you’re Afraid of Dying, you’re not Living.”

Dispense with ‘all’ of your Fears….
Socrates (469-399BC) whose Protégé was Plato, quoted, "What do you remember about before you were born?

Plato had also quoted in his Book, The Republic, ...“The definition and nature of justice such as whether the just man is happier than the unjust man.”

Sadly, we live in a Platonic age and the continuing disintegration of Humanity into a fascist/religious nightmare. Let's hope the pendulum is swinging toward the antidote: Aristotle's "pursuit of happiness"

The 5th Law of Paradox
“Learn from Life’s Lessons as not to Repeat it.”

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

George SantayanaGeorge Santayana, born in 1863 in Spain, and died in 1952 is known as an American poet and philosopher, and these words are his. Well, perhaps not quite.

According to The Columbia World of Quotations (1996) he said: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

The entire attribution is Life of Reason, “Reason in Common Sense,” ch. 12 (1905-6). In the deep of night, when dreams are of 'what might have been', a wishful pianist would surely be able to play with the muscular command, tender finesse, lyrical capriciousness and passionate intelligence displayed by Michiko Uchida tonight in her dazzling performance of Burleske by Richard Strauss. The Hamburg Steinway would always shine so brilliantly one could mistakenly think it was made of black patent leather. And the music . . . ahhh the Music.!
The 6th Law of Paradox
“Waste Not a Moment in Time.”
“How Time passes so quickly.”

Wasted timeIf Time is relevant with those of whom like our Children from whom we Measure our Lives, we soon find ourselves asking, “How did so many years pass by so quickly.” In as much as we quickly became as those who parented us, we find ourselves remembering when our Children were like us, ‘Once-upon-a-Time’.?

Being so, if by ‘Wasting’ Time by waiting, wondering and thinking of ‘when’ something may happen, we will consequently find ourselves as most who have gracefully aged, asking the same question as those who have preceded us. Historians, Philosophers as did many of the Greatest Minds from History have all asked these same prophetic words… as inside Every Older-Person is a Younger-Person asking, “What Happened…!”
The 7th Law of Paradox
“Live Life according to the Life’s Law’s of Paradox.”
“Do something, and you instantly create the potential for its exact opposite. The two opposites are part of one and the same reality and one cannot exist without the other.

This phenomenon is clearly stated in the following quotations: “For every action, there’s an equal and opposite reaction.”
Newton’s Third Law of Motion

“Every excess causes a defect, every defect an excess, and all seem governed by the deep remedial force that underlies all facts.”
Emerson’s Law of Compensation

"After pleasant scratching comes unpleasant smarting."
Danish proverb

“..International cooperation always goes together with rivalry..."
Professor Philip Golub, Journalist and Professor of International Relations at the University of Paris-VIII, commenting on the rising tensions between the US and Russia after the invasion of Georgia by the Russian Army in August 2008.

Michael RaynorMichael Raynor terms “the similarity of opposites” in his book, “The Strategy Paradox.” Even the Law of Attraction operates in complete union with its less-known opposite, The Law of Repulsion.

To attract the things we want, we must be ready to let go of those we don’t want.

The two may be opposing processes but they are fully complementary, in perfect balance and part of one and the same reality.

Whenever we try to live life by concentrating or clinging to the one, we upset the balance of things and cause discomfort.

Carmine Coyote, Founder and Editor of Slow Leadership puts it this way, “I am attracted to the Buddhist teaching that says life provides both pleasure and pain naturally, but we create our own suffering by trying to cling to Pleasure in order to avoid Pain.”

Oscar Wilde says, “In this world, there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it.”

Dr Robert Anthony says, “if you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change.”

The Native American Chief Seattle (c. 1786 – June 1866) Leader of the Suquamish and Duwamish Native American tribes, once said:
“Each challenge is there to guide you toward the desire of your heart. Each problem, seen from the positive side, always turns into a blessing. Each sorrow leads you to your joy. Each doubt--to your knowing. Each lack--to your abundance. Each debt--to your freedom. Each feeling of hopelessness--to your power. Each cry of pain--to your comfort. Each act of war--to your peace. Each act of anger--to your love. Each journey through darkness--into the light."

Chief Seattle dominated what is today known as the US State of Washington.
The 8th Law of Paradox
"Remain Connected."
My wife once asked me, "Why do I never see you Pray. I had answered her with these words," My answer, "When do you not see me Pray."

The Secret of Happiness is to ‘Remain-Connected’, Stay Focused and On-Track.
  1. Which to say, is not to veer-off Track or to become even remotely distracted by things that clearly appear less relevant.
  2. As you consider the answers to these questions and how you can apply your Life to these relatively Simple yet Profound Principals, remember that these Rules directly Affect your Life regardless of your age, race, religion or culture. Over the next several days, weeks, month and years as they will pass quite quickly, you will be unmatched by any other belief. Experience this as those of whom you associate will mirror your Reflection for others. The changes you are witnessing even now, will in turn help others to create an Enriching Life for themselves.
  3. Your Successes will come from facing Challenges as when they arise, you will discover new and innovative solutions. You will use these opportunities to pinpoint and resolve many longstanding issues whereby utilizing these Laws, you will transform into another cycle of life. The key is to remain in the present and address what is current. Maintaining this perspective will clearly help you to avoid the temptation to procrastinate. Whereby eveloping Trust by remaining In-the-Moment, connects you with your predetermined Path towards Enrichment and Wisdom.
The 9th Law of Paradox
"The Age of Innocence - A Smile, more Precious than GOLD."
We must have innocence with wisdom or else our wisdom is but craftiness. And we must have wisdom with our innocence or else our innocence is but weakness., Matthew 10:16.

"The Importance Of A Smile" by Author Unknown

A smile cost nothing, but gives much. It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor but that he can be made rich by it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and is nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.

We must have the harmlessness of doves, that we may not wrong others. We must have the prudence of the serpent, that others may not abuse and take advantage of us. Not to wrong the truth by silence or betray ourselves by rashness. It takes only 4-muscles to Smile while it takes 64-muscles to Frown.
