"This is probably the 5th time I've quit smoking in the 19 years I've been smoking and when I say quit smoking I mean for more then a half-a-day. The first time I quit smoking was about 6 years ago. One day I noticed I was breathing hard, I said I need to quit, through the cigarettes down and did not have a cigarette for a year and a half.


I started smoking by bumming around for a cigarette at a party and immediately I was back smoking just as heavily as when I quit. I went through significant withdrawals that first time. I used chewing gum, mints, lemon sours as a crutch instead of a cigarette to get through it. By the third day into quitting I had what I felt was nicotine withdrawal. I was very very ill tempered where no one wanted to be around me and I didn't want to be around anyone else.

After hearing Steve at a Rotary Club program and experiencing a small taste of his method I decided to try his method. Being one who felt that the mind was a very powerful ally, I felt this method would work for me. At the end of the first session I tried one cigarette and that was the last cigarette I've had for eight days now. Probably the most remarkable thing in quitting this time that I've noticed is the reaction of people at my office to my quitting. In the past everyone knew when Howard had quit smoking because he was a bear.

Several people today when I remind them that I had quit smoking for over a week said, "We even forgot that you were trying to quit." The stress elimination has been easy this time and having to go through a quarterly board of directors meeting today, a normally fairly stressful event in the business world, in using Steve's technique was able to get away from the need to smoke fairly quickly and go ahead with my business. I have used no crutches during this time. I also found that my appetite has not been any different from normal.

Eight days into the program I'm very pleased with Steve's program and very surprised as how easy it's been. I would recommend this method to anyone who wants to quit smoking." Howard
